ACES WEEKLY Volume 12, Week Six starts here!  And this week we are pleased to tell you that  we go live on the eve of Aces Weekly's 2nd birthday!  Yes, on September the 30th, 2012, we stepped into the unknown with the crazy idea of Aces Weekly and the brave bunch of Aces who made Volume One such an amazing debut : John McCrea, Phil Hester, Mark Wheatley, Jeff Vaughan, Alain Mauricet, Alexandre Tefenkgi, David and Kerry Hitchcock, David Leach, Bambos Georgiou, Rory Walker, Lew Stringer, Lucy Stone, Esteban Hernandez, Dave Jackson, Phil Elliott, Carl Critchlow, Mychailo Kazybrid, your publisher, David Lloyd, plus the great colourists and letterers of the volume - Marshall Dillon, Matt Soffe, and Matt Wilson.

Then as now, Volume One was a mix of creators from all over the globe who had little in common except a love of what they did, and a desire to tell the stories they wanted to in the way they wanted to.  That desire was one we were happy to accomodate because it was our planned policy, formed in the certain knowledge that if you give artists freedom,  they do everything possible not to disappoint.  It seems to have been an idea that worked - and was one of the elements of our plans that proved not so crazy after all.  The other elements I'm not so sure about!

What's kept us steady through these two years of hard work in uncharted territory, has been the solid support from you, our great subscribers.  It's not easy to join something new, where you're never quite sure what's coming next, but you did then, and do still, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking us to this next milestone of achievement for us!  I'll be saying more to you all exclusively in my mailout to you tomorrow.

Remember, we always want to hear from you. Ask questions, talk to us all, post to our blog.
