ACES WEEKLY Volume 14 Week Four starts here!

For decades, the art of comics has suffered scant regard from those who don't love it with a passion like we do, and one of the major reasons for that is because the art in printed comics has always been constricted - denied the space to be fully appreciated for the weight of its artistic strengths. The guy who perceived those strengths - and successfully exploited them - was the famous Roy Lichtenstein. Making it big by making comics big, he opened the eyes of all those too short-sighted to see the power that comic art could demonstrate. Sadly, this revelation didn't reward the artists whose work was copied by Lichtenstein to the degree that he was rewarded for it. But that's another story...

Happily now, in the age of Aces Weekly, we don't need any self-serving enablers to make comic art big.  All our comic art can be big at the touch of a button - just by viewing it on your smart tv! It doesn't make our fine stories finer, or our great art greater, but it does add another dimension in real terms to the experience of it - another level of appreciation akin to that created by Lichtenstein but owing everything to the original and nothing to a copy. If you're able to see Aces Weekly in this way, but are yet to do so, don't wait a moment longer. Trust us, you'll love it : )
