ACES WEEKLY Volume 15, Week Five!

One of the great things about comics is that, like a book, they can be enjoyed at a chosen pace.  They have an inbuilt pacing that's there through the craft of the storytelling, and which the casual reader can take it as it comes, but they also have an option for the comics aficionado, who can appreciate the finer details of it in the same way that a lover of good writing can appreciate the excellence of a well-wrought paragraph or a good use of language. It's why comic art will never cease to have a special power over all the moving image offshoots that have been developed from the stories and subjects of comic art, like the tv and movie adaptations that are becoming more numerous every day.
