ACES WEEKLY Volume 16, Week 3.
This week, in our series of tributes from the creators at Aces Weekly to our much-missed fellow Ace, Herb Trimpe, we hear from James Hudnall, the creator of the excellent ' Blue Cat '.
I never met Herb Trimpe but by all accounts he was a great guy. I did read a lot of the comics he drew, and he had an ability to do dynamic Kirby-style action married with a slightly cartoonish charm that made his work very appealing to me as a teen. His Hulk work especially kept me coming back for more even though I was often annoyed with the stories, which were written by others. I was very glad to see he became an Ace last year. I am sorry that he left us so soon.
Remember, we always want to hear from you. Ask questions, talk to us all, post to our blog, and see us over at facebook.com/acesweekly
