Yes, welcome, and welcome again to Aces Weekly, Volume 46, Week One! Yes, yes, I know we've just run that bit past you already, but I'm running it again because I never want you to forget exactly what we do and what we stand for and represent from serious intent here at Aces Weekly, which is, as I've sometimes encapsulated before : that we do different. Here, we show all kinds of stories with all kinds of styles that are made for the reasons our contributors feel they need to use to express themselves in the way they want to. To us, not only are comics better and bigger than the physical ' thing ' that some comic readers demand them to be in the way that they tell their stories, but they are also better and bigger than the creative ' thing ' that is too often classified as the particular blend of art and word that is judged acceptable to most comics readers. Here at Ace Weekly we do different. I know that description is not grammatical, but nothing else sounds quite the way it should to me. I hope I'm forgiven... : )
Remember, we ALWAYS want to hear from you! Ask questions, talk to us all, post to www.acesweeklyblog.co.uk, and see us over at facebook.com/acesweekly. Or send mail to [email protected] to see it right here, whatever you want to say!
