Friends, I want to begin this volume with my own applause for all the Aces who are behind Aces Weekly now, and who have been so in the past, over its many years of existence, and who, despite all the antagonism and resistance they face in helping non-paper comics to maintain their fabulous art form in cyberspace against the unreasoning prejudice it elicits among paper comics readers, continue to participate in its cause.  They're a special breed and we could not exist without them.
