Welcome to ACES WEEKLY Volume 69, Week SIX!

Friends, One of the great writers of comics, Don McGregor, was inducted into The Will Eisner Hall of Fame at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend, and we add the congratulations of all here at Aces Weekly to all those he's received by many others at the event!  Don ended his  acceptance speech with words we should all remember when any of us see the great and undervalued medium we love still being unloved and unnoticed by most of the Joes of Joe Public as it mainly always seems to be these days in this part of the planet.  He said, memorably, : ' If the comic book people don't exist, if the comic writers and the inkers and the artists and the colourists and the letterers don't exist, those *@#&%** movies don't exist! '  Couldn't agree more, of course... : )  Stay safe all!
