Welcome to ACES WEEKLY Volume 73, Week Three!

Friends, A town I live in had a pie and mash shop once because there were enough people in the area who could just about support one.  It existed simply because it could, in a place that had enough love to give it.  But it was not quite enough to keep it alive.  Sometimes, in a world of comics that has become dominated by a commonly-understood mass preference of subject and style for a very long time, we can forget that comics can tell any story it wants to and should, in the same way that the wider world of literature has always encouraged and displayed with its creators of many kinds.  As we must give pie and mash the ability to show what it can do to impress those totally unfamiliar with it, whatever the outcome, we must similarly give the practitioners of comics craft the widest room to show their potential.  At Aces Weekly we do that as part of our mission, and have always done that from the moment we began.  And now I'm feeling hungry... : )  Stay safe, everyone!

Remember, we ALWAYS want to hear from you!  Ask questions, talk to us at our blog or at facebook.com/acesweekly. Or send mail to [email protected] to see it right here, whatever you want to say!
