Welcome to ACES WEEKLY Volume 73, Week Five!

Friends, I sense times are changing in the way that AI art is being regarded.  After an initial widespread disapproval among many involved in commercial art production, I'm seeing some softening of attitude toward its effect on real artists and their employment prospects.  A weary resignation among some artists that there's nothing you can do about it in the face of its cost-saving value and ease of production for potential commissioners, and the unabashed declarations of those commissioners that economics will always trounce any desire to do their duty towards real art and its artists - that is if they had any such desire to begin with.  Worst of all, real artists are beginning to come round to using it themselves as a tool, tempted by its little bag of tricks. If you believe in something, don't give up on it. We don't give up on what we do here at Aces Weekly in our own little mission of keeping to a plan in the face of hardship, and I hope all of you out there feel the same about your own actions. Don't buy AI art, don't use AI art, don't give it an ounce of air in any way.  You've got to be real... : )  And stay safe, all!
